The Shaman Trance is a purpose-built performance bouldering shoe engineered for high-tension movement — high ball smears, technical heel catches, and precise toe catches on the board, plastic, or rock. A hybrid sock upper wraps the foot for a sensitive, locked-in fit, while the multi-strap closure dials in tension exactly where you need it. The Shaman Pro Love Bump Midsole keeps your foot in an aggressive position without unnecessary stiffness, and the full rubber construction handles everything from smearing slopers to biting down on micro edges.

Technologies

• PSR™ (Power Sensitivity Rating): Evolv's proprietary shoe classification system rates climbing shoes from 1 (most sensitive, best for smearing) to 10 (most powerful, best for edging). The Shaman Trance is rated PSR 06, placing it in the upper versatile range — biased toward power and precision while retaining enough sensitivity for high ball smears and technical contact moves.
• EVOWRAP™ Midsole: A highly tensioned 1mm rubber midsole that runs under the entire shoe. The active camber created by the tension increases power and responsiveness without adding stiffness — giving the Shaman Trance its aggressive feel without sacrificing sensitivity on smears and heel placements.
• EVO 74 Rubber: Evolv's softest, stickiest rubber compound for maximum grip on plastic and rock. Used on the 1.2mm toe patch and 3.5mm front outsole of the Shaman Trance.
• SAS Rubber: Evolv's all-around rubber compound balancing micro hold performance with durability. Used on the 2mm and 3mm heel sidewall rands of the Shaman Trance.
