ALPINE stands for a super-wide range of uses, from the valley right to the summit! For multi-day alpine tours with lots of luggage, the TRAVERSE series now has a new companion: The TRAVERSE 40! With an additional bottom compartment, an adjustable front pocket and an extra map compartment, the TRAVERSE 40 is ready for long mountain tours. The back system, the ergonomically shaped shoulder straps and the hip strap provide reinforcement to optimally balance out heavy loads. Just like in the other backpacks in the ALPINE SERIES, the TRAVERSE 40 comes with the COMFORT CONTACT BACK SYSTEM, which has breathable contact pads for continuous AIR CIRCULATION, ensuring pleasant wear comfort.
Clever little features such as hydration system compatibility, crampon and ski fastening options, a hip pocket and a rain cover all come as standard on all TRAVERSE backpacks. The TRAVERSE 40 can be opened up completely using the circumferential front zipper, providing a good overview of the equipment inside.

In addition to the large main compartment, additional bottom compartment and front pocket, this backpack has further compartments in the lid pocket and inside the backpack. Your drinking bottle will always be close at hand in the elastic side pockets.
The standard ORTOVOX features also include an emergency card, chest strap with signal whistle, bright interior color, compression strap and ski holder. Thanks to a PU-coating, the material is water-resistant, and Nylon 210 D Duramax® Ripstop adds extra durability.
