- Personalized DV Design Refined for Real-World Performance - The JodyJazz DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece is based on Jody Espina’s own long-refined DV mouthpiece, developed through years of professional performance across jazz, funk, R&B, pop, and ballad settings. Jody’s own customized DV Tenor saxophone mouthpiece design is now available to all players who are seeking a reliable balance of warmth, projection, and expressive flexibility
- Balanced Sound Profile with Warm Core and Controlled Power - Designed to sit between the standard DV and DV NY models, the DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor offers a sound profile that feels solid, focused, and responsive. Players experience a big, warm core tone that remains expressive at softer dynamics while offering presence when pushed. This tenor saxophone mouthpiece supports musical phrasing across a wide dynamic range, making it suitable for ensemble work and studio sessions
- Metal Construction with Comfortable, Player-Friendly Feel - The DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor is crafted from virgin bell brass that is 24kt Gold Plated. The refined exterior profile and internal balance help reduce resistance, allowing the mouthpiece to respond naturally to the player’s airflow, making it feel even less like a metal mouthpiece than previous DV models. This design supports extended playing sessions and makes the mouthpiece approachable for professionals
- Precision Manufacturing with Included Performance Accessories - The DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece is produced using CAD and CNC machining, followed by careful hand-finishing to meet brand performance standards. Every unit undergoes JodyJazz’s 7-point quality inspection process. The mouthpiece is supplied with a Rovner ligature, cap, and a deluxe protective pouch, providing a complete, performance-ready solution for serious musicians
- Designed for Musical Versatility and Artistic Confidence - The DV JC JODY CUSTOM Tenor supports a wide range of musical styles without forcing a single tonal concept. Players can move comfortably between contemporary jazz, groove-based music, ballads, and expressive melodic work. The refined DV design promotes consistency, control, and clarity, allowing musicians to focus on creativity rather than equipment adjustment
