Bosun Chair

The Bosun Chair is a high-pressure inflatable Belay ledge designed to be the best possible balance between lightness, rigidity, and durability. The Bosun Chair provides a more rigid platform than a traditional aluminum-frame fabric-spanned ledge when pumped to the intended operating pressure (6-12 psi). 

The Bosun Chair is made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) which is the lightest, most abrasion resistant, UV resistant, and most expensive material available for the construction of drop-stitch products like SUPs and other drop-stitch inflatables. It's also more environmentally friendly than PVC because it uses less chemicals to make and is recyclable. 

The Bosun Chair was engineered to maximize durability around contact points with the rock and area that see the highest stress.
