Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Paste

The Birchwood Casey perma blue paste is an excellent way to touch up scratches, worn spots or even completely re-blue most guns and prevent rust. It will give a non-streaky, even blue-black finish to steel (except stainless). Perma blue paste gun blue provide great bluing to metal that has already been thoroughly cleaned and is free of rust. Perma Blue Paste Gun Blue is slower to darken than Liquid Gun Blue, but will build up a denser finish. NOTE: PERMA BLUE Liquid Gun Blue will not blue stainless steel, aluminium or non-ferrous metals.

Birchwood Casey Perma Blue Paste Instructions

The Perma blue paste is for general use guns and should not be used if you require a long lasting results. Before applying the Birchwood Casey perma blue paste clean the gun with an abrasive cloth to remove dirt and grease. Apply a pea size blue paste and cover the surface of the metal with cotton. When applying to the gun leave it on for 30 to 60 seconds then buff off and apply again if necessary to get the required darkness.
