Aquaforest Build is a supplement containing iodides, carbonates and accelerates absorption of calcium essential for hard corals.

AF Build accelerates the absorption of calcium and carbon which are crucial for the development of hard corals.

By providing the corals with all the necessary ingredients, it facilitates and accelerates calcification, favourably affecting the growth rate.

In addition, AF Build raises the pH level in reef aquariums. By keeping the pH at a proper, constant level, it additionally promotes coral growth.

Long-term pH level aberrations result with slower calcification, inhibition of limestone algae growth and in extreme cases may completely stop the calcification process.

Regular usage of AF Build prevents unfavourable fluctuations of pH levels and, by balancing the parameters in the aquarium, it improves the clarity of water and supports the growth of corals.

Due to its unique properties, AF Build reduces the amount of lower-order algae and inhibits the growth of pathogenic cyanobacteria.

Decomposing food may be one of the causes of the drop in pH, therefore AF Build should be used during intensive coral feeding, especially when using a highly nutritional AF Energy supplement.

Dosage:

All coral supplements have a recommended dosage of 1 drop per 100 l (27 US gal) of water, though, it’s important that each aquarium is different and the dosage may vary depending on the coral cast.

Aquaforest recommend starting dosing foods and supplements from half of the dose (even ¼) and observing the corals and their reactions to the administered food.

Once the aquarium shows no sign of overdose, we recommend increasing dosage to the target dose. In order to facilitate the food absorption, SPS and LPS corals should be fed after the light is out.

Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea and other mushroom corals should be fed during the day.

In order to ensure the best nutrients absorption, all supplements and foods for corals should be dispensed directly into the aquarium.

During the feeding we recommend switching off the skimmer for about an hour.

Do not overtighten the screw, otherwise the cover might be damaged.
